NEW LIFE TRAINING - THE BACKGROUNDNew Life Training was first established in June 1998 with 2 divisions - A Personal Training Company called 1-2-1 Health & Fitness and a Corporate Division who delivered NVQ Tutoring and Assessing in Gym, Circuits, Customer Service and Sales. The company was put on ice for a few years before re-emerging in 2010 with a fresh look and further divisions to the business. New Life Training (2010 +) is still fundamentally built around 1-2-1 Personal Training with the focus on individuals achieving their personal goals through Health, Fitness & Fun. However the company has devised a structure to allow people to experience exercise either in a group or on their own, whatever your budget and whatever environment suits you - Classes (1 to 20) - Small Group Classes ( 1 to 8) - Small Group Personal Training (1 to 4) - Personal Training (1 to 1) - Elite Personal Training (1 to 1).

Mark Mayes, BSc. Managing Director With over 20 years experience in the Health and Fitness Industry Mark has a wealth of knowledge of Health and Fitness. He studied Sport and Exercise Science at Manchester Metropolitan University specialising in Psychology and motivational techniques to support people achieving their personal goals. He is also qualified in CYQ Level 2 Instructing Health Related Exercise for Children, with the aim to encourage more children in to exercise and fitness.
Andrew Pook Andrew enhances the Boot Camp and Box Circuits using his knowledge through 25 years experience in Martial Arts. He has trained in Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Eskrima, MMA Cage Fighting, and the Keysi fighting method. This martial arts combination adds a unique blend to the classes on offer. Andrew is also available for bespoke 1-2-1 combat and boxing sessions.
Lindsey Downing Lindsey qualified as a Personal Trainer from the European Institute of Fitness at Lilleshall with a key knowledge in Fat Loss and Toning. She has worked with people of all ages and abilities and really enjoys helping them create their personal best. She believes becoming healthier should be an enjoyable experience and something that you will want to maintain for life! This fits in nicely with New Life Trainings philosophy of GET FIT! LOSE WEIGHT! HAVE FUN!! All Lindsey’s Personal Training sessions incorporate a wide variety of exercise forms which keeps sessions interesting as well as effective!
Sue Van Vuuren Sue specialises in Coaching strength and conditioning. She enjoys helping people to become faster, leaner and stronger for a particular sport or just to look good. Recently Sue has transformed the way she trains after she started competing in Sprinting. She quickly become very successful and is currently ranked 5th in the country for the 100m in her category. Sue uses her determination and success to drive clients to achieve their own goals, so be successful yourself and book a session with Sue.
